Answer

Why is my paving stained?

Usually algae, mineral spotting or oil and rust; many clean off, and sealing helps natural stone.

In short

Common causes are algae and organic matter in damp, shaded spots, iron or mineral spotting in some natural stone, or oil and rust marks. Many stains clean off with the right approach, and sealing helps natural stone resist them. Porcelain resists staining best of all. We advise on cleaning and sealing.
