Answer
What is the difference between natural and reconstituted stone?
Natural is quarried and unique; reconstituted is moulded, uniform and cheaper.
In short
Natural stone is quarried, so each piece is unique in colour and character. Reconstituted stone is moulded from crushed stone and cement, giving a more uniform, usually cheaper product. Natural stone has the character and longevity; reconstituted offers consistency and value. We use natural stone where the setting calls for it.
